what are your own values around technology?

know the alternatives, know your reasons

a tool is alive with a history, i would not like to use it without having perused the guild artisans' workspace

aesthetics and function intertwine but do not lead to one another -- mind the adjectives and how the ways they are named appeal to us, like "soft" tech or the "cloud" or "folk software"... (though i do love the first and third very much)

thinking about sea cucumbers and the way they poop sand (i have two sea cucumber plushes with me right now)
